Congratulations to Heritage University bio medical sciences student Karina Borges on her article being published in the Oxford University Press!
The article titled “Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum” Associated with the Psyllid, Bactericera maculipennis (Hemiptera: Triozidae), focuses on Karina’s research on zebra chip disease. Her composition was published by the Oxford University Press on January 19, 2017. The OUP is a department of the University of Oxford, and is the largest university press for scholarly journals in the world.
Karina is a senior at Heritage University and an Act Six Scholar. She conducted her research with entomologist Dr. Rodney Cooper at the USDA Agricultural Research Services facility in Wapato.
